I've noticed more and more editors (TV news rather than movies) moving back to windows over the years, the stranglehold that FCP7 and the macbooks from 10 years ago (having supplanted avid/windows) had on shoot-edits isn't anywhere near as concrete as it used to be. For producers and reporters, the OS has changed from Windows to Chrome
