The const infection is real in a codebase, and it's the very definition of a bureaucratic practice that saps the fun out of coding. Hopefully people use locality of variables more.
- kbob 5y agoI wouldn't choose C++ if I wanted to have fun. Practically any language (maybe not XML) is more fun to get things done in. If using C++ is the right business decision, I'll use it, but I won't expect to enjoy it.
