It seems like a technology that should be more popular.
- foxyv 5y agoThe problem is that the total cost of ownership is a bit more than a gas furnace due to maintenance and increased initial cost. Also their reliability isn't very good when compared to traditional furnaces. So even if you can save on energy costs you usually don't have much incentive to switch if you have already paid for a gas furnace.
