I'd be curious to hear from someone who speaks French about whether the Canadian version has words that are actually not used elsewhere or if it's just a matter of choice of words. As a CA_FR speaker, I think it's a bit from column A and a bit from column B. Tho, regional differences exists everywhere so I can't be absolutely certain. Proximity to EN_US and EN_UK probably affected CA_FR differently. Levels of language also affects the variety/frequency of anglicisms.
