Somehow I think the practical lesson should be about more than learning to take cover when a gunfight breaks out. I'd like to think there is a better discussion to be had about how to prevent this from happening.
- Filligree 5y agoWhat discussion is there to be had? Every country other than the US already knows how to solve this.
- tomjakubowski 5y agoI think you ought to qualify that some. Many countries have much higher rates of deaths by firearm (intentional or not) than the United States.
- Filligree 5y agoNot all of them have solved it, no. But the United States is the only place I’m aware of that pretends the presence of firearms is a good thing.
