Google warns of ‘devastating’ impact of defamatory hyperlinks ruling
- willk 5y agoMirror: https://archive.is/pTEMr https://archive.is/pTEMr
- hericium 5y agoOriginal source doesn't require me to run Cloudflare's JS and archive.is does.
- djohnston 5y agoit does require you to run the js that shits a 50% banner on the screen after you start reading though, IMO far worse than any JS Cloudflare is sending
- hericium 5y agoI can read the post with no JS what so ever.
- easrng 5y agoArchive.is isn't behind Cloudflare, but they cloned Cloudflare's captcha page CSS. You can tell because 1. It doesn't say Cloudflare anywhere and 2. It uses ReCaptcha (Cloudflare uses hCaptcha)
- rkagerer 5y agoWithout weighing in on this particular example, Google does need to figure out how to inject some humane treatment into their cesspit of automated processes and fix their "scale without empathy" business model.
