I feel like this looks more like a project that emphasizes aesthetics rather than practical power generation. It looks great, but it likely would not light up much more than those strings of tiny lights. Notably, there is not much head (vertical drop), which is what yields the potential energy that drives the turbines. I have a few ponds that have ~3m of head, but even that does not even feel like enough to produce much useful power.
