I don't have anywhere near enough money (I'm literally under the poverty line) but I definitely feel like I have enough "acquisition power." I don't want to acquire more, I want to sort through all my junk and get rid of most of it.
- mod 5y agoFiguring out how much is "enough" has been incredibly valuable to me. It turns out I'm already quite wealthy in the categories that are important to me. I, too, am trying to get rid of a lot of things. Not to be a minimalist or anything, but to quit feeling like I owe time to those objects and the spaces they occupy, and instead focus even more time into the things I care more about.
