- rvz 5y agoMy comment never said that this outage 'WAS' got to do with web3. That is why I said 'IF', given that Roblox plans on moving to the metaverse and web3, hence the 'quotations'. So 'IF' this continues and they move to 'the metaverse', it will not only get worse, but it will create an outage domino effect crossing towards others services ('or metaverses')
- ineedasername 5y agoWell, then it was simply an odd off topic comment to insert into a discussion like this. You could jump to just about any tech issue in that way-- chip shortages, computer security, software bugs, etc. Without a more direct link it broadens the discussion in a strange way. In the case of web 3 or crypto where people have somewhat ideological viewpoints it's potentially damaging to the ability to talk about the specific topic at hand. That is what struck me as odd.
