The Problem with NFTs
- Hokusai 5y agoGreat documentary. It manages to present NFTs to a non expert audience. And I found a few interesting details that I was unaware of.

- kevando 5y agofile this under reaction videos. he's reacting to the hype. this is no different than saying "the problem with YC" and only focusing on the last 5 batches.
- hudsonvallymike 5y agoI watched this in its entirety and left feeling stunned by much of it. I didn't know a _lot_ about NFTs or cryptocurrencies, just the basics. For anyone who knows a lot about this, is there information that was omitted here that I should be aware of? Or should I indeed distrust these entire industries?
- jasonm23 5y agoIt's easy to simplify this to NFTs are a grift. They are simple pointers to URLs. They have no inherent value They do not qualify as ownership of the resource They are as much cryptocurrency related as Git. (I.e. they reside in a Blockchain.) No more than that. Stay well away from them, they are a scam and a grift.
