Or you’re too young for the vaccine.
Hospitalizations among 0-1 year olds are significantly up with Omicron. Even 1-14 year olds represent a sizable portion of hospitalizations in many states, presumably biased toward those in that age group too young for the vaccine.
Being a parent of young children is not great right now as Omicron gets worse for children and everyone else in the world seems to have given up on helping you reduce your risk of your young kids catching it.
- akmarinov 5y agoEven though hospitalizations are up, death rate is basically 0 Sure, it sucks, but there are a lot of diseases out there that can put your child in the hospital that we’re not imposing restrictions for.
- t0bia_s 5y agoStatistically... For kids is much more dangerous to sit in car or have parents alcoholic. Just because it is not in news and we used to it, it doesn't change fact, that kids suffering and die because of other s*its.
