Mandatory e-learning for "company values" and multiple choice questions? That thing is a time suck.
- KiranRao0 5y agoIt took me far too long to realize these, but those company value videos are to protect the company from being sued if an employee misbehaves.
- JackFr 5y agoI’ve spent years working at large banks. Finally realized all of the mandatory online training are parts of legal settlements the firm has agreed to.
- pm90 5y agoNo. They are meant to educate employees. I learned a lot about implicit bias and things that are and are not considered ok in the workplace. Am I supposed to learn this magically somehow? It’s really great to be explicit about workplace etiquette.
