This is true, I'm also in that category of people: I'm rich enough that money is not a problem for me, but too poor to invest in solving aging meaningfully. What Calico didn't get right is that it was super secretive for a long time and not collaborated with the underfunded antiaging community. It got better in the last few years, but I have much more hopes for Altos (and I really hope people there push back on being secretive on something, where making the highest possible return is not the most important goal for the investors).
