Makes sense, they can't compete with LinkedIn in direct hiring. Stack overflow = dictionary for developers. Very few would be visiting it with a job hunting mindset. Recruiters/headhunters are predominantly on LinkedIn, they won't bother with other platforms. Company employer branding teams will use it though as long as the cost isn't as gouging as it was.
