I think there are a few reasonable arguments in this article but the fact that Apple has lots of cash isn't one of them. I am always amazed at how easily people throw around numbers like 8 billion dollars without a second thought. Even worse suggesting that paying 11 billion would be a reasonable price or in other words paying a 40% premium on a falling stock, would make investors happy.
