Good to be aware of your biases. Not many people are self aware enough about themselves to know that something like "packaging" can effect their rationality. Especially here on HN where a lot of people think of themselves as "smart" programmers more intelligent than the rest of the population. Such an ability allows you to see truth where others delude themselves. But knowing the absolute truth isn't always a good thing, and sometimes you may get attacked for pointing something out.
