I've been able to get cheaper and cheaper servers every few years since 2012, each with better CPU and RAM than the previous. This is the first time in that decade I see a price increase. Only +4% in my case, for my fairly cheap machine. What type of server do you have?

Another example: Intel Xeon E3-1275, 16 GB DDR3, ~1 TB HDD. Price went from 37.60 to 59.29 (~57% increase)
