My monthly electricity bill went up by ~29%, so sounds about right. In fact, my electricity provider raised everyone's rate, even those with a contract, but giving an option to leave and find another provider, and shortly thereafter went bankrupt.
- PinguTS 5y agoThats not true. Regional providers which source their energy by regional means without any nuclear, gas, and coal can sustain their prices. I wasn't buying cheap before and stayed regional and now I am still at about 30 Cents/kWh. It the same with lumber last year.
