But, is there a reason why the minimum size of a storage that can be provisioned is 1GB? Last I checked, a provisioned storage cannot be shared by multiple apps, so I had to always create an overprovisioned storage when creating a small app, leading to a waste of money. Is it possible to share a PostgreSQL instance instead?
- breakingcups 5y agoThis reminds me of the days where every popular PHP+MySQL application had an option for a table prefix, so multiple applications could live in the one databse provided by your classic hosting provider.
- mrkurt 5y agoYou can run multiple DBs in a single postgres instance. "fly pg attach" creates a DB and user for each app you run.
