Major Breakthrough as Quantum Computing in Silicon Hits 99% Accuracy
- marcodiego 5y agoAre we still waiting to discover problems which are more adequate to be solved using quantum computers than classic computers?
- hirundo 5y agoA large increase in the efficiency of factoring large numbers into primes could break common security protocols and crash crypto currency markets. And it's clearly in the realm of quantum supremacy.

- Eridrus 5y agoThe most compelling applications I have heard are for simulating quantum chemistry.
- molyss 5y agoIs really 99% accuracy good enough. A 1gHz computer does 10^9 operations each seconds, 10^7 of which would be inaccurate. That sounds like a pretty high number to me, but I’m no quantum scientist
- ncmncm 5y agoThis method does not seem extensible to more qubits...
