- allears 5y agoArticle doesn't mention that the FAA and the airlines had years of advance warning to test and certify altimeters, but neglected to do so until the last possible second, and then bitterly complained as if they'd been blindsided. This whole controversy is a lot more about the FAA's incompetence than anything else.
