A trillion dollar company should be able to easily figure out how to avoid "reaction" messages from dumping a screenful of text and destroying the messaging experience for everyone. I"m sure they can do it for less than "a billion dollars". I'm not suggesting that Apple should be responsible for making cross-platform messaging 100% compatible, but someone at Apple has made conscious decisions to make the experience as infuriating as possible.
