- d3nj4l 5y agoLmao, here's a quote from Phil Spencer after the Bethesda acquisition: “[I]f you’re an Xbox customer, the thing I want you to know is that this is about delivering great exclusive games for you that ship on platforms where Game Pass exists. That’s our goal, that’s why we’re doing this, that’s the root of this partnership that we’re building.” I doubt MS Paud $70mn to not keep their games exclusive.
- rvz 5y agoThey are not going to make 'ALL' their games exclusive even if they wanted to. That would be silly. I would expect that their new spin-off IP of an existing franchise to be exclusive. They will make their main franchise games close to free on their Game Pass platform and they will become more expensive on other platforms regardless. That is what will happen. Why is Minecraft still multi-platform after Microsoft purchased Mojang?
