I see autotune more like an instrument that gives the ability to create new sounds.
- WalterBright 5y agoSure. But it can be overused, and currently it is applied everywhere. Whatever happened to singers with good tone, like Grace Slick and Madonna? You can hear autotune taking away the ability of the singer to play with the sound. It isn't just autotune. It's the electronic modification done, like the color "adjustments" done in modern movies that turn every movie into blue and orange tones.
