Thanks for posting this, I haven’t read much from this point of view. At the end of the day though, they are using this in countries that do a better job with safety than we do with less of a guard band. So either the FAA is entirely full of shit about this or they haven’t forced the kind of equipment checks they should have because this has been in the works for a long time.
