- 999900000999 5y agoIt's state by state and even county by county. If the local sheriff feels like it , he or she can give you another week. If the local judge desires, you can be granted 6 months
- tehwebguy 5y agoWith few regional exceptions CA has the most tenant protections in the country by far. Notably NJ requires “cause” for terminating or even refusing to renew residential leases, which appears to be unique as far as states go.
