AFAIK they searched for a German word for reverse engineering and came up with zerforschung.
- Semaphor 5y agoDoesn’t really work, but sounds a lot cooler than Rückwärtsforschung ;)
- LargoLasskhyfv 5y agoOf course it works. Extreme reversing by 'Zerlegung' in all its constituent parts by whichever means (not necessarily 'zerstörungsfrei') for the purpose of 'Forschung'.
