- vmception 5y agoThat would be short sighted. Anyone that takes a tax deduction on what they feel is a business expense alerts the IRS to look for a tax payment from the recipient. So it doesn't matter what medium the payment occurred in. You have no idea what the individual nodes in your professional graph reported for their benefit. Get a CPA if you want to level up your understanding and advantages in society. A firm, not "your friend that does taxes" or the person with a cardboard e-filing sign on their window above the air conditioner.
