You don’t typically need Selenium for scraping and automation
- throwaway81523 5y agoThis is an ok article. It's not much of a "how to" but it points out the drawbacks of using Selenium rather than scraping "the hard way" (i.e. with site-specific hacks, observing network traffic, etc). It's helpful to see how the "pros" do it.
- toivo 5y agoThats funny. I've done some scrapers with unity and C#, since my experience comes from game dev. I thought I must have been doing it dumb ass way but nice there are to know there are some upsides to it as well.
