- nanomonkey 5y agoStrangely enough there were tribes that refused to eat the same foodstuff as their neighboring tribes. People are funny about how they differentiate themselves from others. The Californian Native Americans prided themselves on being fit and not eating fatty foods, subsisting off acorns and wild grasses, where as the Pacific northwestern natives threw fat feasts known as potlatch. These would be wildly different restaurants.
