Why can’t congress just do their jobs and prohibit multiple government backed mortgages. It’s crazy a single person can have 10 Active government backed mortgages at a time.
And while they are at it remove 1031b and cap gains exemptions. Let’s make housing a bad, depreciating asset like cars. And it’ll quickly become more affordable.
China’a approach to only allowing land leases doesn’t sound all that crazy.
