I just wish it had WiFi and ideally Bluetooth as well. Right now an ESP8266 or ESP32 is a much better fit for a lot of usecases. Despite being much more closed

I just wish it had WiFi and ideally Bluetooth as well. Right now an ESP8266 or ESP32 is a much better fit for a lot of usecases. Despite being much more closed in nature. And when you take the whole-board pricing it is similar if not cheaper than the RP2040. But maybe the next version.. I hope they will add this because it would be great to have a truly open connected controller.

And I wish it were more limited, cheaper, and more widely available. If your use case requires significant networking, use something designed for that.
