Useless. On android I can place the cursor with one tap exactly where I want. I can even place it to the left or right of a narrow letter, i, without any problem With iphone system you have to realize that the change you want to make is in the middle of a word so tapping is not enough, press the spacebar and wait for it to change, use the screen as a joystick and try to get your cursor where you want it. Much slower than a simple tap.
