I’m implying that people don’t resort to theft when they can afford food, housing, medical care, and that the solution is probably a lot more complex than just throwing money at one symptom of deeper problems.
- another_story 5y agoThat is not true. The motives for theft are varied. Even wealthy people will steal.
- slavboj 5y agoAt a minimum the entire idea of "white collar crime" disproves the notion that people don't steal once they hit subsistence.
