A few years back I bought a middle of the road Lumix micro four thirds camera instead of DSLR. The reason I went with the MFT camera is it could shoot 4k video without the sensor overheating. At that time, DSLRs would overheat in 10-15 minutes and 4k capable DSLR bodies were 2x more expensive than the MFT Lumix.
I really liked the mirrorless better than the last DSLR I owned. MFT sensors can't deliver as much bokeh as a 35mm DSLR, but the trade off was the body and lenses were a lot lighter and more compact. I'll often grab the Lumix when I would have left the bulkier DSLR home... and it really is a better camera than any mobile phone I've used.
Compared to the phone (Samsung Galaxy S20), shots are much more color accurate, it's easier to focus on exactly what you want, and you get better lines in wider angle shots. That said, I'm usually pretty happy with the phone, but I love being able to change lenses and the precision of the camera (compared to the phone).
