Nope. Lenses are designed for a specific sensor size. Phones have tiny sensors.

  Ok, I get that. In that case, it would be fantastic if someone created professional lenses for smart phones. The nearest I’ve seen are nowhere near the capabilities for telephoto.

    The thing is, if you wanted to get a 200mm lens with equivalent quality to the main lens in the iPhone 13 Max, it would need to be 8 times wider and 8 times longer. That's around 5cm long and 3cm wide. Just doesn't work.

    Not practical because of physics. It would ruin phone ergonomics and you'd end up with a brick. Or maybe requirea cumbersome adapter and lens assembly. New flagship phone camera assemblies are big and ugly enough as it is. Phones with 3 or 4 cameras because the consumer demands it.
