- blagie 5y agoMy preferred workflow would be: - Camera unpredictably decides a lot by itself in an opaque fashion. I get useful automation for family photos. - I get a RAW file if I want to decide something different or if I'm printing and framing a photo 99% of the photos I shoot fit in the former category, but the 1% in the latter is about equally important (1 framed photo is worth a lot more than a random cell phone snapshot).
- sudosysgen 5y agoRAW+Jpeg with a modern mirrorless in Aperture priority and vivid presets does that for me. Send off all the pics into Amazon Photos or Google Photos, put the RAWs in my NAS, and edit them whenever I want to.
