It’s true that most people switched because convenience and marginal cost usually beats quality. That’s how we went from landlines to “can you hear me now.” But I have the latest iPhone and a low end SLR and the SLR blows it out of the water for photos of my kids. All but one of the photos on our wall are from the SLR even though 90% of our overall photos are from the SLR.
