You need more initiative working in a startup than most corporate roles, so adjusting to that might take some time. I would be more worried if they struggled to make payroll or didn't pay bills on time, or there is cofounder trouble. Let the c suite worry about the product, best you can do is hit your marks and get used to being semi independent so you aren't a bottleneck.
