Ask HN: How to move from Biotech Project Manager to tech project manager?

I am tech transfer PM, R&d ->Pilot -> Clinical/Commerical. Wondering if someone has moved to IT sector in PM role or knows how to go about doing it? This is a general question in that i dont especifially, at this time, know where within IT i want to be PM in.
