- bob1029 5y agoIt's honestly not that hard. You will likely have a better customer experience at literally any other retailer. I know you also get streaming access and other digital rights, but the only value proposition for me is the free shipping - which is pointless when the contents are broken/fake garbage ~50% of the time.

A big benefit of Amazon is the customer service in the sense that it is very simple and quick to return something, and most often free. IMO that's a big reason why they own online shopping: They made people feel safer so they were more confident buying from Amazon rather than somewhere else. Competition has been trying to catch up ever since.
