Similar thing happened to me but they actually picked it up the second time. I think they have a different policy for returning medium-to-large electronics, or maybe it depends on who the seller is - my return was a monitor. Every other return I've been able to drop off at a collection point myself. I would try to reschedule again. I think it's Hermes that's at fault here, not Amazon (or maybe a bit Amazon for not being more flexible and for using Hermes in the first place). The package being unopened doesn't matter.
