- Tagbert 5y ago“Marketing” in this context means producing products. It is not the same as advertising. In most companies the remit of marketing is very broad and would easily cover the store where products are sold. Having said that, I do agree that Apple has succumbed to some very insidious self-made incentives to not address problems that are hurting their customers and throwing Apple in a bad light. It seems very short sighted.
