When i use routers provided by my ISP the switches always just work. when i was running pfsense (i need to set it up again soon :) ).. I just had to set a rule for them to always get the same IP and the correct NAT type and it worked perfectly. It does make me wonder if all ISP provided routers are pretty insecure in some way?
