I don’t think he’s foolish or wrong not to monetize, but at this point the opportunity cost of not doing it is truly enormous. I understand he has a personal feeling that this was not meant to be monetized, and I can respect that. But even so, it would make a lot of sense for him to put a tip jar on the site. He’d probably make $100,000 over the next weekend, and he’s certainly earned it.
