Reason you can't hire engineers is: stupid tech interviews (i.e., leetcode) and low pay (Western Europe). My company gets tons of candidates. We reject 90% of them because: they do not pass our tech interview (I couldn't pass them either and I have been working here for 3 years!); when do they pass we cannot pay what they are asking for.
