RevPi has a very substantial problem. The IO Module Drivers are made the way, that in order to read I/O, you need to be constantly polling the file descriptor.

RevPi has a very substantial problem. The IO Module Drivers are made the way, that in order to read I/O, you need to be constantly polling the file descriptor. This causes the load to be very high.
I would liked to see the I/O modules using the standard IIO driver approach (https://wiki.analog.com/software/linux/docs/iio/iio https://wiki.analog.com/software/linux/docs/iio/iio). This would make integration into industry-standard software much more comfortable.
