H1B is predatory because switching jobs is very difficult. Due to the hardships of switching jobs, the immigrant may take on more abuse. I do agree with you that most people will see their lives improved when compared to the country they immigrated from. However, the abuse does exist. The complaint isn't that H1B should go away. It that it needs reform.
