I was at a local Trader Joes on the 3rd of January, the store was much more barren than normal, and when I went up to the counter I asked if the truck was delayed, it wasn't. They had a larger rush on Jan 2nd and 3rd than they had leading up to Christmas and New Years. It was very odd to see.
- itsgrimetime 5y agothe TJ's near me (greater Seattle area) was pretty bare, but they did miss their daily delivery (due to landslide blocking a highway). almost all cold dairy & vegetables were out of stock
- ncmncm 5y ago"Out of Stock" is the Authentic Trader Joe's Experience. It goes along with everything being a long, long way from its "sell-by" date. (Except walnuts, oddly: only ever buy organic walnuts from TJ.)
