We've used Auth0 for our apps and liked most of it. It's definitely a lot better than rolling your own auth or using something like AWS Cognito.

- mooreds 5y ago100% agree that using Auth0 is better than rolling your own auth. I haven't done a ton with Cognito, but everyone I talk to tells me it is great for simple use cases (serverless, great pricing) but miserable once you step off the basic happy path. Enormous missed opportunity for AWS, IMO. Azure ADB2C, with all its flaws, shows that Microsoft is serious about trying to own customer identity.
